Proefnotitie: 

Uiterlijk: intense robijnrode kleur

Neus: frisse en levendige hints van framboos en kersen, en een volle overijpe finale.

Smaak: ongelooflijk bevredigend fruitig, ondersteund door een fluweelzachte en zeer verfijnde tanninestructuur.

Het huis: Les Vins de la Madone is een van de meest fascinerende domeinen van de Côtes du Forez, een discrete appellatie gelegen tussen Saint-Étienne en Clermont-Ferrand, aan de poorten van het natuurpark Livradois-Forez. Gilles Bonnefoy streeft ernaar de frisse puurheid van het fruit te vangen, zowel in zijn Gamay-rode wijnen als in zijn witte wijnen (IGP d'Urfé), een Roussanne en een blend van Sauvignon Blanc en Gris. Deze mineraliteit, afkomstig van graniet en vulkanische bodems, komt mede tot haar recht door het biodynamisch beheer van de wijnstokken (certificering in 2008) en vinificatie gedeeltelijk in hele trossen en rijping alleen in cuves ( zonder houtlagering).

Generous Gin "Purple" is a real innovation in the gin world!

Much more than a color, Generous Gin "Purple" is the first gin to contain polyphenols and grape anthocyanins.

Polyphenols are the molecules that make up the tannins in wine, anthocyanins bring the texture and color of red wine; they are also known for being antioxidants.

The delicate blend of Generous Gin imparts a smooth and dry texture combined with the freshness of the pink grapefruit flavour for this seductive gin.

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Deep, brilliant ruby colour.

Nose: powerful Gin made up of the perfumes of pink grapefruit and lemon lime. Tonic notes combining the scents of juniper and freshly crushed pepper.

Palate: Flavours of pink grapefruit, Timut pepper. 

A perfect balance between the aromatic typicity of the different juniper berries, the contribution of other botanicals and the original sensation of structure provided by the anthocyanins.

Gouden Carolus Single Malt is a refined whisky distilled from the mash of Gouden Carolus Tripel beer. A first for Belgium are the hand hammered, copper pot stills, in which the pure mash is distilled. The result is a pure and clear distillate.

The ensuing aging in First Fill Bourbon casks followed by a further aging in 'Anker' casks (oak casks reworked by the cooper according to our own specifications) results in a refined whisky with a rich and balanced taste. The subtle fruit aromas are delightfully enhanced by hints of wood and vanilla.

Nose: Fruit, vanilla and crème brûlée

Palate: Full and balanced; notes of wood, vanilla

Finish: Sweet with lingering vanilla and orange blossom.
