Ron Centenario Reserva de la Familia 18yo is made from sugar cane grown locally in Costa Rica’s rich, volcanic soil.

Once distilled, the rum is aged in white oak barrels for up to 18 years using a traditional solera system.  

Tasting Notes : 

Appearance : amber intense

Nose: aromas of vanilla, oak and spices

Palate: dry and pleasant with notes of dark chocolate, spices and nuts.

Finish: Long finish with a taste of oak burned, vanilla and nuts.

Proefnotitie: De wijn toont een steenachtig, mineralig bouquet. Zeer fijn, met rijpe maar heldere fruitsmaken. En zeer elegante, intense en verbluffende expressieve droge Riesling

Het Huis: Sinds 250 jaar is de familie Schönleber actief in de wijnbouw in het wijnbouwgebied Nahe.

De relatief jonge wijngaarden (2 ha) zijn sinds 1960 in het bezit van de familie. Inmiddels is dit aantal uitgebouwd tot 20 ha (85% met riesling beplant). Waaronder de 2 Grand Cru wijnbergen in het Nahe gebied: Halenberg & Frühlingsplätzchen! Sinds 2001 wordt alles onder eigen label op de markt gebracht.

Werner Schönleber legt zich volledig toe op het management van de wijngaarden terwijl zijn zoon Frank inmiddels de vinificatie heeft overgenomen.

The Demon's Share is a rum of sugar cane molasses, distilled in the pure tradition of the Spanish style (continuous distillation), in American oak barrels re-charred for 6 long years.

Tasting Notes : 

Appearance : Intense amber with golden reflections

Nose: Subtle intensity with alcoholic notes that soften the sweet tanning in which vanilla prevails. Citrus fruit, green apple, wood.

Palate: Wood notes that greatly reduce the vanilla that emerges from the nose. Round with sweet spices, citrus notes, good wood and light leather.

Finish: Very persistent and chocolatey with an original personality.

Land: Panama
