Indonesia is the largest producer of spices in the world. So creating a spicy NAGA rum was a matter of course. We named it MALACCA after the port in Malaysia, from which ships laden with Asian fruits and spices departed for Europe.

Tasting Notes : 

Nose: Kumquat bark, the flesh of Indonesian jambu (java apples), citronella and cinnamon are used to give the Indonesian Batavia Arrack rum citrussy aromas and a final freshness.

Palate: Its generous, exuberant palate is dominated by flavours of mandarin, lime and pear.

Finish: The final note is fresh and sparkling.

Nez : Bouquet aromatique séduisant. Des notes fruitées de fruits tropicaux, comme l'ananas et la mangue, se mêlent à des accents floraux de jasmin et de fleur d'oranger. Une salinité subtile rappelle la proximité de la mer

Bouche : Fruité avec une acidité vive mais ronde. Légèrement salé et minéral en fin de bouche.

Le domaine: Depuis 1955, la cave Chaves est un nom connu dans l'appellation Rias Baixas dans la région viticole de la Galice. Il s'agit d'une véritable entreprise familiale qui travaille dans le plus grand respect de la nature. Castel de Fornos est le nom du premier vignoble et du premier vin de la cave. Castel est une appellation similaire à Grand Cru, un lieu idéal pour la viticulture, que la famille Chaves possède dans la ville de Fornos, où toute la famille est née.
