The perfect, traditional Eau-de-Vie, this Massenez Vieille Prune is the result of combining the best selections of plums and aging them in a barrel.

This strong Eau-de-Vie is removed from the still and then aged in oak barrels for several  years. It then softens to become an eau-de-vie with great finesse and subtlety.

It is famous for its digestive qualities and can be sipped at the same temperature as a cup of tea.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance: clear and colorless, sometimes with yellowish-green hues due to its aging; with a brilliance that is characteristic of Fruit Eaux-de-Vie. A supple and fluid eau-de-vie.

Nose: fruity, intense and with a distinct fragrance of ripe plums...

Palate: a direct and complex attack on the palate, between an almost floral freshness of the fruit and the intensity of the plum. A fleshy, round and generous Eau-de-Vie.

Appearance: Intense and bright yellow colour with golden reflections. 

Nose: On the nose it shows floral, citrusy and herbaceous notes over a yeasty and mineral base. 

Palate: The finish is bitter and clean with a long, nutty and refreshing aftertaste

Œil : Jaune paille avec des reflets verdâtres. 

Nez : assez intense et complexe, avec des notes florales et fruitées. 

Bouche : pleine, grasse et persistante avec une bonne acidité et une bonne sapidité. Des notes de fruits tropicaux et une finale d'agrumes.

Le domaine: L'histoire de la Cantine Paradiso commence en 1950 avec Angelo Paradiso, un paysan comme beaucoup d'autres qui, à cette époque, peuplaient la campagne des Pouilles. Il construit un domaine viticole qui, aujourd'hui encore, constitue le noyau central autour duquel la société s'est développée.

Au fil du temps, le vignoble a pris de l'ampleur et, au fil des enfants, il est devenu un point de référence solide pour la production de vins des Pouilles.

Au cours de ces soixante années d’histoire, la famille Paradiso a toujours attaché une grande importance à l’appartenance à cette terre unique, renforçant ainsi la culture œnologique du territoire et améliorant constamment la qualité de la production.

Les résultats obtenus confirment les choix de trois générations de viticulteurs, attachés à la tradition et sensibles à l’innovation.
