Proefnotitie : 

Uiterlijk: de kleur is levendig licht rosé. 

Neus: in de neus een mooi bouquet van rood fruit (framboos, aardbei en kersen). 

Smaak: de grote hoeveelheid van de Chardonnay druif biedt de wijn finesse en elegantie, een echte delicatesse.

Het Huis : Het huis Ayala is in 1860 door de Colombiaanse diplomaat Edmond de Ayala gesticht. De Colombiaan was met een Française getrouwd en zij bracht het Château de Mareuil-sur-Ay met de daarbij behorende wijngaarden in als bruidsschat.

Sinds 2005 is Ayala onderdeel van de Bollingergroep. Het huis stelt hoge kwaliteitseisen: er wordt alleen gebruik gemaakt van de eerste persing en de wijnen rijpen veel langer op droesem dan gebruikelijk.

 Een feestelijk aperitief of bij verfijnde visgerechten. Smaakt uitstekend bij desserts met vers fruit.

Plantation Rum Sealander is a blend of rums created by Ferrand. For 25 years, Plantation has been crossing the oceans and selecting rums from around the world to offer quality bottlings.

They have selected casks from 3 origins. They include the WIRD distilleries from Barbados, Saint Aubin from Mauritius and Rum Co. of Fiji from the Fiji archipelago.

Tasting Notes : 

Nose: Sweet and complex, notes of juicy pear, quince jelly and redcurrant, subtly spiced by nuances of smoked molasses.

Palate: Rich and creamy, it reveals a range of flavors: clover honey, liquorice, beeswax, vanilla and prune.

Finish: Long and persistent, notes of cooked apple, tonka bean and dried banana.

Land: Barbados, Mauritius, Fiji Islands

Scarabus is a peaty Single Malt from the Isle of Islay bottled by independent bottler Hunter Laing. The company is run by Stewart Laing and his two sons.

Scarabus means "rocky place" in Old Norse (Scandinavian language) referring to a mystical area of Islay.

This Single Malt is bottled in its natural colour and non chill-filtered.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance: gold

Nose: Islay peat smoke and sea salt.

Palate: warming leather notes, stewed rhubarb and a wonderful vanilla sweetness

Finish: leading to a rich lingering finish.
