Indonesia is the largest producer of spices in the world. So creating a spicy NAGA rum was a matter of course. We named it MALACCA after the port in Malaysia, from which ships laden with Asian fruits and spices departed for Europe.

Tasting Notes : 

Nose: Kumquat bark, the flesh of Indonesian jambu (java apples), citronella and cinnamon are used to give the Indonesian Batavia Arrack rum citrussy aromas and a final freshness.

Palate: Its generous, exuberant palate is dominated by flavours of mandarin, lime and pear.

Finish: The final note is fresh and sparkling.

Uiterlijk: bleekgele kleur

Neus: aromatisch bouquet: fruitige tonen van tropisch fruit, zoals ananas en mango, vermengen zich met florale accenten van jasmijn en oranjebloesem. Een subtiele ziltigheid herinnert aan de nabijheid van de zee

Smaak: Fruitig met levendige, maar ronde zuren. In de afdronk licht ziltig en mineraal.

Het huis : Sinds 1955 is het wijnhuis Chaves een begrip in de appellatie Rias Baixas in de Spaanse wijnstreek Galicië.. Het is een echt familiebedrijf dat met veel respect voor de natuur te werk gaat. Castel de Fornos is de naam van de eerste wijngaard en de eerste wijn van het wijnhuis. Castel is een aanduiding die vergelijkbaar is met Grand Cru, een ideale plek voor de wijnbouw, die de familie Chaves heeft in de plaats Fornos, de plaats waar de hele familiesage werd geboren.

Palate : A taste of the summer sweet and fruity peach balances well alongside hints of orange and lemon

Finish : sweet peach and citrus persists with a touch of peppery juniper on the end.
